Photographs are bound by the place where they were taken, the things they were taken, and the time they were taken. At that point, I feel that photography is merely a copy of reality and that reality seen through the medium of photography is its beauty.

What happens when you increase the contrast of a photo to extremes? The boundary between the subject and the background becomes ambiguous and the sense of distance is blurred. At this point, I think that photography finally acquires the beauty of photography.

A view that can only be seen in photographs. I believe it is more substantive and has room to resonate with the experiences and memories of others.
